TestAsan is an independent practice platform. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to ETS, the organisation that owns and administers the TOEFL test. "TOEFL" is a registered trademark of ETS and is used here only to describe what our practice material prepares you for.
Your account
You need an account to take a practice test. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself, and for everything done through your account. Tell us straight away if you think somebody else has used it.
One account is for one person. Sharing an account, or reselling access to it, is the one thing that will get an account closed without a refund.
Practice tests and scores
Scores on this platform are estimates produced by our own scoring, including AI grading of speaking and writing responses. They are not official TOEFL scores, they are not accepted by any institution, and they are not a prediction of what you would score on the real exam.
We keep your responses so you can review them. Speaking recordings are kept for a limited period and are then removed.
Payments
Plans are paid for in advance. Because access begins immediately and the material is delivered at once, a plan cannot be cancelled part-way through a period for a partial refund — see the refund policy for the cases where we do refund.
AI grading credits are spent when a response is submitted for grading. A credit consumed by a grading run that then fails is returned to your balance automatically.
Ending an account
You can stop using the service at any time. We may close an account that shares credentials, attempts to extract our question content, or abuses the platform, and we will say which.
Changes
We update these terms occasionally. The date at the top of this page is when they last changed, and material changes are announced by email before they take effect.
